About Me

Digital Designer
I started my design career at a small agency in Amsterdam, which grew into part of a large American consultancy firm. Here I got to experience a lot of different work environments, cultures, methodologies, tools, design assignments and working with (inter)national clients for 12+ years.
During my last years at Accenture I got to experience what it is like to be a Digital Designer at clients such as Ikea, Rabobank, the police and Shell for periods of six months to a year. With an emphasis on iOS and Android apps, corporate websites and portals. Very educational and fun to get a look behind the scenes within various sectors.
Netvlies and then Elephant brought me to a small to medium-sized digital agency again. Here I got the chance to take on smaller projects where you have the challenge of designing complete websites in a short time period in collaboration with strategists, branding designers and web developers. Here I got to make an impact for companies such as Optisport, Brabant Water, Bambook and various SME+ clients.
I am currently working at Coosto, a SaaS company, as a Product Designer. Here I am helping to mature the design department by improving the way of working, design quality, and cross-team collaboration. I am also involved in exciting topics such as accessibility and AI-driven product design. Working internally allows me to invest in people, build sustainable design processes, and create work that lasts and delivers long-term value..

When Brent starts a project, he can really sink his teeth into it. He prefers to challenge the client just a little bit with his design, but he keeps the needs of the target group in mind. He works best when he is given the space to get started conceptually within clearly defined frameworks and expectations from the client and the team. As a colleague, Brent is sincere, interested and can work well together. He likes to think from the perspective of the team and his work also comes into its own when he is challenged by the team.
